Is our data backed up in case of an emergency?

Yes, data is backed up every 3 hours and written to multiple disks instantly. We can perform full backup recovery in the event of a system-wide emergency. Our hardware is hosted in the cloud and fully redundant so even if one disk or server fails, nothing will be lost and the system will not go down. Our uptime is over 99%.

Is Braintrust reliable, secure, and confidential? Is our data safe? Where is the data hosted?

We take all reasonable precautions to keep your information safe and secure. We utilize Amazon's cloud infrastructure and storage technology to reliably host our applications.

Who can see our Braintrust conversations? Do you read them?

Your privacy and security is our #1 priority. Only the people you invite into your Braintrust will be able to see the conversations taking place. No one else will be able to view your data.

Can we install Braintrust on our own server?

We don't offer installable versions of Braintrust. We maintain the servers, the security, and all the updates/improvements so you don't have to worry about anything.

Do you provide phone support?

We provide unlimited support via email for our paying customers, but we don't provide support over the phone. We do our best to respond to every email within just a few hours of receiving it. Your emails always get answered by an owner. We do not outsource our support overseas or employ low paid, unqualified support staff.

Are there signup fees? Termination fees? Any hidden fees?

There are no fees beyond your flat monthly payment. Period.
